Audit and Inspection Wing

A&I Wing is one of the important Wings of PASSCO, Head Office and functions under the direction of the Managing Director.  The foremost function and responsibility of Audit and Inspection wing is to ensure that the policies of PASSCO Head Office are implemented in letter and spirit in the Field with a view to curbing losses due to negligence, irregularity, misappropriation, embezzlement and theft. A&I wing also foresee problems in the Field and bring those to the notice of the management for timely action. A&I wing has to be vigilant and must keep the management informed regarding any willful deviation of the procedures and irregularities. It has following functions to perform:-

1. To ensure that PASSCO stocks, properties, buildings have been protected / preserved properly and kept as per given standards.
2. To see that PASSCO funds, manpower, stocks, accommodation, equipment and other resources are utilized correctly and economically.
3. To ensure that records of Purchases/ Sale Transactions of stocks and consumables are well maintained.
4. To ensure that the funds and properties of the Corporation are not mismanaged, misused or misappropriated.
5. To ensure that all PASSCO employees assigned on various field duties have been provided with requisite facilities to work proficiently.
